Using Google Tag Manager on Links You Share
What is Google Tag Manager?
Google Tag Manager allows you to manage your tracking pixels centrally, including Facebook Audience Pixel, Google Universal Analytics Tags and more, and then place a single tag on your website, or in this case, link.
Using Google Tag Manager with Linkly
By using Google Tag Manager with an URL shortener like Linkly, you can leverage containers you already use on your websites, even when sharing links on social media.
To fire GTM tags when sharing links:
- Create a Linkly Link.
- Under Google Tag Manager, enter the container ID, which you’ll find in the GTM console.
- Save your link.
Fire Google Tag Manager (GTM) tags when sharing your links.
You can include whatever tags you need in your GTM container.
