Linkly vs Bitly Enterprise
Linkly and Bitly Enterprise are often used interchangeably.
So much so, in fact, that Linkly has a Bitly Import feature.
Both Linkly and Bitly have similar starting prices, although they widely differ in focus.
Obviously, as this is a Linkly blog post, it’s difficult to be objective, however I will try to be as impartial as possible.
Features Shared By Both Linkly & Bitly Enterprise
Both are custom URL shorteners, that allow you to use your domain to create branded vanity URLs.
Linkly starts at $29 per month, with Bitly being $35 per month (discounted to $29 on a yearly plan). Linkly also has a free plan, which allows 2000 clicks per month and all features for free.
Linkly offers unlimited users per account, whereas Bitly only allows 1 user. Bitly also restricts the number of links you can create in your account (1500), whereas Linkly has no limits.
Both have plugins for Google Chrome and Firefox.
Features Specific to Bitly Enterprise
Bitly Enterprise is really just a link shortener.
Paying for it allows you to use your own domain with it, with some limits. To get a ‘full account’, you’ll need to contact them to get a quote.
Features Specific to Linkly
Linkly is also a link shortener, but has a few extras, namely mailto shortening, redirection rules (e.g. based on device, location etc), QR codes, data export, Google Sheets integration, and more.
Linkly gives away all the features for free, and charges based on click volume. This has the advantage that you can pause paying for Linkly when you don’t need it, and not worry about losing all your links.
